He developed the project “design with life” where the goal is making everyday objects - that are normally passive - more alive and active. This goal makes this project a good example to inspire sustainable interaction design projects.

The folks at Graffiti Research Lab,openFrameworks, The Fat Lab and The Ebeling Group have teamed up to createThe EyeWriter, a "low-cost eye-tracking apparatus + custom software that allows graffiti writers and artists with paralysis resulting from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis to draw using only their eyes."

See through concrete

Filled with optical fibers that run from one end of a poured piece of concrete to the other, these prefabricated blocks and panels effectively transmit light from one side to the other. Colors and light remain remarkably consistent from end to end, but with a natural variation from the pouring process that actually softens the effects considerably.
